Amey Enforce Safe Driving Message With Text Campaign
Leading public service provider Amey, has come up with a cunning idea to make sure that its team of field based staff stay safe while driving.
The company has recently put in place a ban on using mobile phones while driving, which includes driving while using a hands free device.
To help bring home the message, Amey have used Text Marketer’s sms service to good effect. All drivers have been sent a bulk text message reminding them of the mobile phone ban and asking them to acknowledge receipt of the message by texting in a keyword to a five digit short code. By texting in the keyword, employees are confirming that they have read and understood the new ruling.
With staff safety at the forefront of company policy, the text service reminds drivers that using a phone while driving is dangerous and not acceptable, even when using hands free. Implementing such a significant change to the way employees work on a day to day basis needed an innovative way of getting the message across in a forceful and memorable way.

Using a bulk sms service is a great way of keeping in touch with members of staff. It’s particularly useful if you need to make sure an urgent piece of information is received immediately.
