Scottish Institute for Enterprise Adopts Text Alerts

Scottish Institute for Enterprise provides a free service for all of Scotland's students to encourage enterprising spirit and skills, and help start-up companies become the businesses of tomorrow.

As part of an new communication strategy, the institute has started to use sms as a way of keeping in touch with members by alerting them to a series of events and activities throughout the year. The idea is that budding entrpreneurs receive the text updates and attend a range of events, seminars and summits.

Text Marketer has been selected as the mobile marketing agency to provide the sms tools for the initiative.

The first sms marketing campaign was dispatched in March 08 and encouraged students to attend a ‘dragons’ den’ event in Strathclyde.
