UK’s largest bathroom retailer launches customer text service
Bathstore has chosen Text Marketer’s SMS software to launch a new SMS alert service for its customers. Customers can opt to receive SMS alerts direct to their mobile. The offers aim to drive customers to the store with a range of tempting offers. A recent weekend event offered a 15% discount on all products, along with free delivery if the customer showed a text voucher to store staff.
SMS Campaigns – set up in minutes and response is immediate
This new SMS initiative from Bathstore is a great example of how developing a simple mobile strategy can cheaply and cost effectively drive sales. SMS campaigns can be set up and deployed so quickly that they can be used to respond to local trading conditions in real time. If a particular store is experiencing quiet trading, then a text campaign with a strong offer can immediately drive more store traffic and sales.
The same simple idea can be applied to any industry and the results are likely to outperform other direct marketing channels such as e-mail or postal mailings.
