Webloyalty research states that this year we are planning to spend a whopping £16.5 billion on Christmas shopping in the UK with the average Brit looking to spend a total of £442 this Christmas – it appears that it’s not just the thought that counts!

However these are things that we already know. Every year Christmas seems to get bigger with more advertising campaigns with bigger budgets that get rolled out a couple of days earlier than the year before. Lights get bigger and brighter and more money gets spent.
