Originally conceived in 1999, Text Marketer recognised the importance of Bulk SMS as a marketing communication channel. In those days the use of text messaging in business was the reserve of a few select, forward-thinking companies.

Text Marketer set about creating some straightforward web-based SMS software that would be accessible to all types of business people, not just the IT crowd. Our aim was to make Mobile Marketing available to the many, not just the few.

Shortcode SMS

Companies were quick to realise the power of Bulk SMS and wanted to set about building their SMS lists. The next step for us was to create a Shortcode SMS system that would allow people to receive text message responses from advertising.
